Sack Lunches for
Harvest Soup Kitchen Patrons |
|
| Fifty sack meals are packaged one day each
month by different Sunday school classes, circles, and other groups from
St. Andrew Presbyterian Church for persons who eat lunch at the Harvest
Soup Kitchen. The hot lunches are served Monday through Saturday
from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. without charge in the former St. Lawrence
Catholic School located at 9203 East Charles Street. The
complimentary sack meals are then given to the lunch guests as they
depart so they may take them with them for their evening meal.
Donations by the St. Andrew Benevolence Fund and contributions by church
members cover the expense for the lunches that are delivered to the
Harvest Soup Kitchen by a church member. |
