Presbyterian Women in the Congregation
of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church
Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus
Christ,
and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves
to nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study,
to support the mission of the church worldwide,
to work for justice and peace, and to build an inclusive
and caring community of women that strengthens the
Presbyterian Church, (U.S.A.)
and witnesses to the promise of God's kingdom.
Presbyterian Women is an organization made up of women from 80% of
Presbyterian churches who support the Presbyterian Women's
Purpose. The words forgiven and freed inspire them to work to
strengthen the denomination while nurturing their faith and working for
peace and justice. All women are invited to participate. St. Andrew women are actively involved.
Through the Thank Offering and the spring Birthday Offering, the
Presbyterian Women's Organization is able to give approximately three million dollars annually to the general
mission of the Presbyterian Church as well as to give two million
dollars more to meet local and worldwide peace and justice needs.
Through participation in these giving opportunities by the congregation,
St. Andrew helps make a large difference, as well, in these vital areas
around the world.
The Afternoon Circle meets the third Monday of each month, except for

to eat together meet at varying restaurants at 6:00 p.m. and join those
not eating out at 7:30 p.m. at the church for Bible and Mission study.
